No such thing as a “bad” dog here

I care about personality, not behavior

I’m not here to edit your dog’s quirks. I’m here to show who they actually are.. all of it.

Every dog is different, some are shy, some are confident, and some have very strong opinions about absolutely everything. Sessions are built around your dog’s personality. Nothing is rushed or forced, we just take things as they come. I set the direction, your dog decides what to do with it.

The goal is simple: I want you to recognize your dog in the photos, not an overly styled version of them. So when you look at them in 15 years, it feels like they’re right there with you again.

Before a session / After a session

Before a session i hear things like:

"My dog doesn't really listen."

"Mochi is a little weird."

"My puppy has approximately three seconds of attention span."

"If there's a squirrel, we're done for."

"I'm honestly not sure how this is going to go."

"We're just going to see what happens."

After a session i hear things like:

"That is SO him."

"We had such a fun morning."

"How did you get that expression?"

"That's exactly how she looks at me."

“You made us feel so comfortable.”

"I can't stop looking at these."

Natural moments, moody portraits

From shy pups to bold adventurers, each session captures dogs in their own world, exploring city streets, lounging at home, or enjoying the beach.

Testimonials

I am not someone who enjoys being photographed, and my dogs are certified gremlins. Silke made us all feel so comfortable and had tons of great ideas about where to meet up to get beautiful scenery, when to meet up to get the best light, and how to pose myself and the dogs to get great photos. I highly recommend!

" Silke is not just an amazing photographer but just the sweetest person. After I mentioned to her that Shadow’s condition changes on a day to day basis as her cancer was progressing and she just recovered from surgery, Silke was nothing but accommodating and thoughtful."
