My Process
1.Fill out the form
Let’s start by connecting! You can reach out with any questions you might have about the process, and I am happy to provide all the details you need. I will send you a quick questionnaire designed to help us ensure I am the photographer for you. It will give me a sense of your dog’s personality and your vision for the session, so we can create something truly special together.
2.lets chat
It is time to dive into the fun details. I will reach out for a phone call or email where we will brainstorm creative ideas, talk about your dog’s quirks, the vibe you’re going for, and any fun ideas you have in mind. We will pick the perfect date and location to make sure your photoshoot is as amazing as your pup!
3.Picture time
Here comes the fun part—let’s make some memories! The key to amazing photos is making sure your dog feels comfortable and at ease, so we will let them do what they love best. Whether it is running, playing, or just relaxing. And yes, we’re definitely eating lots of yummy treats along the way! This is all about letting your pup have a blast while I capture their personality in the most natural, fun way possible.
4.Delivering photos
The final step! Within two weeks of your session, you’ll receive a personal online gallery. Take your time to explore and pick your favorites, it’s your moment to relive the fun. If you’d like to turn your photos into custom artwork, I’m here to help. Whether it's framed prints, canvases, or other keepsakes, I will guide you in selecting the perfect pieces to showcase your dog’s personality and preserve your memories for years to come.

FAQ
My dog is shy or a bit anxious, is this a problem??
As the mom of a very very (VERY!) shy and skittish pup, I completely understand your worries. Strangers, the wind, camera equipment, or even just the outdoors can all be very intimidating. We will go at their pace. If this means we need to walk around and get to know each other for an hour before we can start our shoot, that iss totally fine! Lots of snacks will be distributed, so in general most dogs warm up quickly. If you think we need a different approach, just shoot me a message and we will figure it out!
My dog doesn't know sit or any other cues, is this a problem?
Absolutely not! I am there to capture your dog being their wild, silly, goofy self. Thanks to modern technology I am able to capture them at 1/1000th of a second, no need for them to stay in the same position for long. We will get some photos of them sitting, but many more of them just doing doggie things. Personally, I love some crazy tongue-out action!
For safety we will keep your dog on leash throughout the shoot. No worries though, I will make it disappear through the magic of photoshop!
How can I prepare for the shoot?
We all want to look our best for photos, right? For our long and curly haired pups I would recommend a bath and grooming a day or so before the shoot. Make sure those beautiful eyes aren't hiding from us! For our short haired friends a bath or just a good thorough brushing will do.
Please avoid planning a grooming appointment on the same day as our shoot. Baths are stressful and we want your pup to be as happy and stress free as possible prior to the shoot.
