Meet Luna Tamale, a photogenic sweetheart I had the pleasure of photographing at Rocket Dog Rescue in Oakland. This girl’s got main character energy.

Luna is calm, confident, and totally content doing her own thing. Think quiet wine night at home, not wild dog park chaos. During our shoot, she was super chill, happy to explore, and very happy to be admired. She’s not needy, just deeply into quality time with her people.

She absolutely adores humans, including kids (she’s great with the 7-and-up crowd), and once she picks her person, it's game over. Luna’s a ride-or-die type. She’s also a pro in the car, enjoys her walks, and will gladly lean in for a long, relaxing brushing session like the pampered queen she is.

Now, Luna prefers to be the solo furry star of the show. She's not looking for a canine roommate, thank you very much. But if you’re after a loyal, mellow companion who will happily follow you from the couch to the kitchen and back again, she’s your girl.
